Hi #measuringhero,

as a metrologist, you make sure procedures and production processes run smoothly at your company every day. As perhaps one of the unsung heroes, you have great responsibility. With that in mind, we want to honor your important work with the ZEISS #measuringhero Award 2020! The winners of seven award categories will be invited to a Porsche Travel Experience and an individual training session with ZEISS measurement experts at our headquarter in Oberkochen, Germany in October 2020.

Take part in up to seven award categories:

Let your colleagues and friends vote for you. The participant with the most votes wins. The voting phase ends on July 31, 2020.
Two chances to win: Add your colleagues to your team. The votes of all team members count here. The team with the most votes wins. The voting phase ends on July 31, 2020.

You will get three registration codes when you register for the team category. You can forward these to your team members. Your team members can add themselves to your team by entering the registration codes when they apply for the award.
The #measuringhero with the most metrological certificates wins. All manufacturer independent AUKOM certificates and all ZEISS metrology training certificates count.

In case of winning, we need a copy of your metrological certificates to prove your information. These documents will not be published.
The #measuringhero whose ZEISS quality assurance facility is furthest away from the ZEISS Group headquarters in Oberkochen (Germany) wins.

Simply enter the address of the ZEISS machine location when applying for this category. Only the distance to the ZEISS Group Headquarters in km will be published.

If you win, you can prove your entry with the machine number. We will not publish this number.
The winner is the #measuringhero who operates a ZEISS device under the highest temperature in a measurement environment.

In the event of a win, proof of your specified temperature is required, such as a picture showing the thermometer display, the ZEISS machine and the temperature view of the software for machine operation. This image serves only to verify your information and will not be published.
Are you measuring a very small component with a ZEISS machine? Then take part in this category. The winner is the participant who measures the smallest component with a ZEISS machine. The volume of the component is compared, which is determined by the width, height and depth of the component.

Complete (not destroyed) components count. Raw materials, such as powder, are excluded.

The data you provide on the width, height and depth of the component will not be published. Only the resulting volume will be published. In case of a win we need a proof of the size of the component. This can be done, for example, with a photo next to a suitable measuring scale. We will not publish this proof.
Are you measuring a very big component with a ZEISS machine? Then take part in this category. The winner is the participant who measures the biggest component with a ZEISS machine. The volume of the component is compared, which is determined by the width, height and depth of the component.

The data you provide on the width, height and depth of the component will not be published. Only the resulting volume will be published. In case of a win we need a proof of the size of the component.
